Sabine Peters

Sabine is an assistant professor at Leiden University who is interested in both cognitive and affective aspects of adolescent brain development. She received her PhD in 2016 (cum laude) from Leiden University. During her PhD research, she focused on the neurocognitive development of feedback learning and its relation to school performance. In addition, she investigated the neural basis of risk-taking and alcohol use in adolescence. Currently, she is investigating whether neural measures can be used to predict developmental outcomes such as school performance, alcohol use and the emergence of psychiatric disorders.
