Sophie Sweijen is a second-year master student at Leiden University and combines her research master Developmental Psychology with the clinical master Child and Adolescent Psychology. After obtaining her bachelor’s degree, she wanted to focus on the brain and behavior during adolescent development. Particularly, Sophie is interested in the social context of adolescents, for example how adolescents learn from each other and interact with others. As of September 2018, she is assisting in the fMRI study investigating social learning in adolescence and is writing her master’s thesis about this topic.
