Philip Brandner studied history and biology in Austria before completing his research master in Neuroscience from Utrecht University. During his masters he worked on brain development in twins and later on face perception in epilepsy at Rockefeller University in New York. Philip started as a PhD candidate at the Brain & Development research center in Leiden in December 2017. He will investigate the underlying neural architecture of prosocial development in children and adolescence. This longitudinal research project is supervised by Prof. Dr. Eveline Crone and Dr. Berna Güroğlu.
