Neeltje Blankenstein



Neeltje completed her research master in psychology (track cognitive neuroscience) at Leiden University in 2014 (cum laude). During her second year of her master program, Neeltje completed an internship at the Brain and Development Research Center where she assisted in a large longitudinal fMRI study (Braintime). During this time Neeltje wrote her master thesis on the role of gender hormones in feedback-based learning. In September 2014 Neeltje started her PhD project in the Brain and Development Research Center, under supervision of Dr. Anna van Duijvenvoorde and Prof. Dr. Eveline Crone. This project is focused on decision-making under uncertainty (risk and ambiguity) across healthy adolescent development, using model-based analyses and functional neuroimaging techniques.
